Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Foothill Elementary. We are grateful for all the time and positive energy volunteers dedicate to our school. We appreciate your desire to work with us to achieve greater service for all of the communities we serve. There are many types of volunteer opportunities at Foothill including, but not limited to, classroom assistance, special events and field trips.

At Foothill, we utilize the Help At Schools platform to help organize volunteers. During School Hours Volunteer Requirements

Volunteer Requirements

• If you would like to volunteer on a regular basis, ride the bus on field trips or supervise children on field trips you must complete the Raptor volunteer application.
• This applies to all volunteers, even if you have completed BVSD fingerprinting in the past.
• The cost is $25 and the screening is good for 12 months from the date the application is completed.
• The application must be completed before volunteering begins. Once you have received email confirmation that your application has been approved, you are welcome to begin volunteering.

If you are interested in volunteering in the coming weeks, please check with your student’s teacher/s for classroom needs. You can also check our PTO sponsored volunteer opportunities. We look forward to welcoming our community back into the building! Please remember to bring your ID when you visit or volunteer. ​
