Thank you Foothill families for coming out to celebrate Heritage Night and for sharing your delicious dishes. It was wonderful to have the school filled with families sharing a meal, watching enchanting performances and making new friends.
We are especially grateful to:
Mark you calendars! Heritage Night is next Wednesday, February 22nd from 5:30pm to 7:30 pm. Heritage Night is a celebration of the strength and diversity of our community. All families are invited to come and enjoy food, performances and conversation.
Please look out for a email from your children’s teacher with links to sign up to bring food and volunteer. All families are asked to bring a favorite dish (along with a serving utensil) to share. Pasta Jays, Centro, and Organic Sandwich Company have donated food as well. Potluck style dinner will be in the cafeteria followed by performances by Vanu Vedi a Kutandara group, and possibly a Brazilian Samba group and Irish step dancers.
We hope that all Foothill families will join us for this special night of sharing and socializing.
Because of your generous support, we were able to fulfill our teachers’ most immediate needs.

Grants were selected based on the number of students impacted by the purchase, the expected length of use (e.g. one time, one year, or multi-year), timeline and ease of implementation, alignment with Foothill vision and priorities, and capacity to enhance curriculum.
We are proud to announce that the Mini Grant program was able to purchase:
The Foothill Elementary PTO welcomes all Foothill parents, students and staff to contribute their thoughts and ideas to our blog.
