At the start of every school year, the Foothill PTO requests financial support from the parent community to ensure our school has sufficient funding to provide a high quality educational experience for our children. Foothill’s Fund the Fox campaign is a long standing, successful program that provides the critical funding necessary for the staffing and resources that are not provided for by the Boulder Valley School District (BVSD). Principal Schuba has taken a careful look at this year’s school budget. To meet the goals of the school, the Foothill PTO is requesting that each family make a contribution of $275 per student. Some of you may recognize this as a slight increase versus last year. The increase is primarily due to the decrease in the student population (approximately 40 fewer students this year) as well as increased funding needs due to BVSD funding cuts. Funds raised through our annual Fund the Fox campaign will support:
The generosity of our parent community makes it possible for Foothill to maintain a high standard for learning and safety despite educational spending cuts at the state and local level. Our goal is to achieve 100% participation in the Fund the Fox campaign from all Foothill families. While $275 per student is our requested amount, please give at a level that is appropriate for your family. Contributions can be made until September 29, 2017 by submitting a cash or check donation in the included envelope or by making a donation online at below. The Foothill Elementary PTO is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible. Every year matching gifts from employers provide thousands of dollars to Fund the Fox. Please send any and all matching paperwork you receive to foothillpto.treasurer@gmail.com. To learn more about this year's PTO budget in detail, click here.
